2010 Avnet Tech Games Geocache Scavenger Hunt

Thank you to players of the Avnet Tech Games Geocache Scavenger Hunt!

Thank you to Verizon Wireless for providing the phones used during the Sat., Feb. 13, 2010 Scavenger Hunt AND as a special prize for the winners!

Teams competed in a scavenger hunt using the format of a multi-stage geocache challenge. Each team was provided a GPS to use along with an initial instruction page to find the 1st location. At each location teams had two actions, first to find clues to the next location, and second to post to their schools' Facebook and Twitter pages about the clue they just solved. Teams followed clues for each subsequent cache (offset cache) until the final destination was located. The final location was where the actual cache container was found. The cache container had a First to Find award and also contained a commemorative token for each team.
