  • was there for this..came all the way from Galway Ireland to see this competition and the concert the day after with Black Dyke, Cory and Grimethorpe but Black Dykes performance of Titans Progress here stole the whole weekend...sent shivers down my spine,still does listening to that little bit there...brilliant

  • @bandoism you're probably right. I'm not sure if you're in a brass band of a high level where you're sitting on stage holding the final chord of a test piece you've been dedicating you weekends, rearranging your work and social life around for months. Late night rehearsals, camps, sectionals. That's exactly what you want to do afterwards, though I personally wouldn't shout. It's one hell of a feeling. Perhaps this guy is just very excitable.
