Some very funny pictures of my real life Star Trek wedding. We examine the history and necessity of government marriage licenses. Also Gardner GoldSmith's opinion on marriage and a interview with Walk for Liberties Brooke and Will Buchanan about their divorce!

  • In GA, their is "common Law" marriage. If you co-habitate for 7 years, you are essentially married. I know several couples with this arrangement.

  • I heard about that, so even if we don't get married on paper, the government can force you into marriage without your consent and behold you to all their marriage and divorce laws.

  • sweet video. I didn't really know what I was watching at first. Then it all made sense.

  • I am trying to entertain a little more in my videos instead of jumping right to the political message. Please repost it if you like it!

  • It does look cool, Warning! The director said if you expect it to be like the old Star Trek you will hate this movie.

    It looks great!

  • Marriage lic. is a joke.

In a strange way, I think it makes divorce seem more reasonable to people. After all, it's simply economics, right?

In this way, marriage has become an agreement between, you, your spouse, and the state. How lame is that!?

  • While I don't agree with what I'm guessing are your libertarian beliefs, I do agree with you about marriage. The government should not be in the business of granting marriage licenses. It's just plain silly.

It looks like you had a beautiful and fun wedding. Too bad Star Trek Experience isn't still around.
