This was actually one of the saddest deaths in the series for me, even though Butchie wasn't in the show much. The fact he doesn't say a word, even after getting shot in the legs. He really loved Omar. And then Omar's reaction when he finds out..TEARS ARE COMING AGAIN.

This was tough to watch a Butchie was a likable character, mainly due to his association with Omar (being blind doesn't hurt), but it's not like he was some innocent person they killed, like the security guard.

He was part of Avon's plan to sneak hot shots into prison, which killed 5 people. He most likely did some really bad things other than that, having been in the game for a long time.

He rolled with a prison guard who dealt drugs in prison and also with a heist over a few drug dealers, the guy was not exempt from any torture. He deserved to die.

I never liked Butchie to be honest. Also he went along with that hot shots plan that Avon/Stringer had at the prison which killed a load of people. There's no doubt that he loved Omar but that doesn't make him a good person.
