Extremely true statement regarding the selfish Americans. We don't know what true suffering is. We are a society that never has enough of anything and everything. I can understand needing an S.U.V. vehicle; but who "NEEDS" a $70,000+ Escalade? People are starving but as long as they are not in our view, they aren't our problem. The rest of the world mocks us because we never know what plenty is and we are WASTEFUL. I am ashamed of what selfish, arrogant and wasteful people we have become.
