Thanks to CobraDVS & IntellivisionDude for the trades!

& thanks to Robert & Cruzan RUM for helping out with the shelf.

If you're wanting to make the shelf (materials are about $20-$25 not including the paint).
- 1X12X(whatever length you want but add a couple of feet to make the wall brackets).
- Some 1X4 (same length as shelf) rip in half to make the nosing/stop and also for the wall cleat. Also some lengths of 1X4 to go behind the wall brackets (in the video I used 3 brackets).
- Wood glue
- Wood filler (or Bondo) to fill in any nail holes, etc..
- A cheap brush
- Latex primer and latex paint (Latex is water based) (Use Semi-gloss or gloss paint)
- Some finish nails (about 1-1.5") to nail the nosing onto the edge of the 1X12
- Some screws 2-2.5" to screw through wall cleats into the wall studs and 1.5" screws to attach the 1X12 to the brackets.
Also, if you don't have any power tools/saws, many home improvement stores that sell the wood will most likely cut the wood for you at no charge.

Thanks for watching

  • Great room man! I loved the 12° shelf!

  • @Kozakczuk Thank you, I guess kind of like a raised 'shoe shelf' lol :)

  • Well done. Your room has really come around.

    Great Job.

  • @coachmillsblog Thanks Mills :)

  • Do you prefer ATARI or Nintendo?

  • @28steryan Hey, btw, you did sterilize that blade before you used it? lol :)

  • @thomas3120 No man, and it's infected, aggghhhh!!!

  • @28steryan Damn Stephen...putting me on the spot lol. JK ;) I like all the same but for different reasons. I guess I do find myself playing more on the Genesis/MD, Atari 2600/7800, NES, SNES, but the others as well. I really like playing arcade ports no matter the system.

  • Thomas, :) no worries

  • @thomas3120 Yeah, I know it's not supposed to be that rare, but the first time I've ever seen it anywhere was IntellivisionDude's video...hopefully I can find another copy somewhere, but in the meantime I'd love to see a gameplay video of it :)
