Marites VS the Superfriends

Did you ever wonder why whenever you'd watch "The Superfriends" on a Saturday morning way back in the day, that the Hall of Justice was kept so nice and clean?

Well, because of their Filipina maid who you never saw.

We've all heard about the plight of all the Overseas Filipino Workers leaving the Philippines in the thousands just to find jobs good enough to send money back to their families back home.

Many of them still suffer disgraceful working and living conditions beyond our comprehension, oftentimes silently.

Even our own Superfriends can treat domestic workers very much in the same manner and this is one of their stories...

is it just me or are all maids who share the name marites just plain retarded? i mean, we had three of 'em back then. the first one back in 2001, the second back in 2009, and a new one recently who all share the same..uhhh...flaw (as if there's even something they've done right). they're all dumb enough to make me not wanna trust them with cooking or doing laundry (especially since all 3 managed to set a piece of my wardrobe on fire.).
