Funjet with Tornado 2900Kv and 4.7x4.2 prop

Multiplex Funjet with 86g Tornado 2900Kv, HiModel Professional 30A ESC, 3 cell 2400 15C Mystery LiPo and 4.7x4.2 APC prop. 25500rpm @ 26A & 10.68V giving 604g static thrust. AUW 570g. (since this video was made i a tried a 4.5x4.1 prop and found that the performance was better with longer flight times. 4.5x4.1 prop turns at 26700rpm producing 641g of static thrust @ 11.07V & 24.6A. Efficiency was 72% vs 64%, and pitch speed was 104mph vs 100mph, for the 4.5x4.1 and 4.7x4.2 props respectively. Needless to say that i now fly on the 4.5x4.1 prop and absolutely love this setup.)

The biggest prop i can use on the 2900Kv is 4.75x4.75 and thats just about 30A. I use 5x5 on a 28-40-2500 medusa and thats 35A. How many amps is the microdan using

I have a microdan 2800kv which is close to your motor and I run a 5*5 prop no worries on 3S.
