Work your fingers to the bone for 50 weeks a year? Why? Well, to spend the other 2 weeks submerged just offshore from a Maldivian island. This year it was Reethi Beach Resort on the island on Fonimagoodhoo in the Baa Atoll. Every evening at 6pm all the fish scraps from the kitchen are fed to the rays, jacks and sharks who clamour in the shallows. Once feeding's over, the aquanaughts amongst us can slip beneath the waves and head into the channel to spend some quality time with the beautifully graceful and gentle rays who linger even after the feeding is over...
