@gfvbott Very very loud. A 38 cm (380 mm) cannon which is over 2 times smaller than this one, blew out the windows of a house 100 metres away and the shell is 4 times lighter than this gun. My guess is that it is insanely powerful, the blast would probably hit your chest like a sledge hammer even if you are standing 200 metres away from it. You can't get the feeling of its power from a video, sound technology can't catch the experience.
AHHHH Hitlers obsession with bigger and bigger, impressive technology but just not real practical, especially in the "lightning war" and tactics of the panzer units. They did prove effective as siege weapons but what a high cost of manpower, material, and having to haul the gun and ammo around, while the Russian partisans were blowing up trains and tracks at every opportunity.
@cheomire indeed.... only good thing is those big guns is that enemyes will fear that when they cknow what is against them......... "fearfactor is big those like tiger thank"......but they cost hellewy muts money.... always muts is not good... sometimes must be quality whit those fast factory products....
those weapons were pretty cool and it shows off the engineering skills of the germans. but seriously! the money tossed at those monsters could have been better spent. the paris gun the germans used in the first world war, big bertha, did some damage, but for the most part was a useless gun

It would take a lot of trial and error to perform an accurate artillery
