It will be released on March 5th 2012. It may be a new i pod touch that will be released but it is most likely an ipad because its been so long since the ipad 2 release.

2011 - The year of iPad 2 (and maybe iPod/iPhone 5?? ^^) :D
There will be an iPad 3, but not this year I think :P
