Great video! Love the song and photos of the actual Skylark. I love big band music, love Ella, love this song and the arrangement of it and I love birds! My cat was napping nearby when this played and he seemed so content to hear the birds too. Thanks for posting it.

I'm delighted you enjoyed the videa.....both Ella and the skylarks are a joy to listen to. Big Band music is just fabulous and nothing else can come close to the rich, yummy sounds.

This is beautiful music. Skylarks are one of my favourite birds, and it was said to be a sign that everything is okay in the Natural world. Sadly this is not the case now. I love The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams. So peaceful.

Yes...I love 'The Lark Ascending' too.....it soothes and calms me.
I heard skylarks last week on some sand dunes...it is very distinctive.
