MY LIFE IN THE PHILIPPINES VOL. 26 UP THE MOUNTAIN

This is the trip to Canlaon from San Carlos. Going up the mountain. What a beautiful one hour bus ride. Cost .. 100 pesos for the both of us.($2.30 US dollars). As you get near the top you can see Cebu, Over 3 million people live in Cebu. Actually, Cebu has the biggest population in the Philippines. Manila only has about a million people. This day was a little cloudy. You will see many things. Houses made of Bamboo or Hollow block. Clothes that have be washed by hand hanging on the bushes drying. Goats,Cows,Dogs,Chickens, ducks and many more. Fruit is everywhere. Bananas, Pineapple, Mango, Papaya, Tar Apple, etc. The best view from the mountain is from Paradise Store. I wish I owed that property. Wish you could see this. Video just can't tell the whole story. The cool mountain air so so fresh and clean. ENJOY !!

I believe this is Don Luis Benidicto ,,,,,,,Beautiful place ,,,,,....I drove this beautiful strech of Highway and I enjoyed every minute of it .....will go back there again sometime .....this place is a must to see ....

@skul255 No, That drive looks almost like the drive to Canlaon City. This is from San Carlos. You turn off in San Carlos and go to Don Salavdor through Benidicto on your way to Bacolod City. It is a beautiful drive. The best two drives in Negros Island. Glad you have good memories of the Philippines God Bless You & Yours.................Popz

Philippines is such a great place, got lots of good memories. I'll tell my kids how wonderful Philippines is and where their dad is from, also i will teach them the culture and the language.. Thanks for the Video Sir!

Entire province of Cebu has more or less 3 million people whereas Metro Manila around 15 million!

@leonkilats Hi, If you look at google you'll find that Manila has less than 1 million. Yes the metro manila has more. The best price and products are really much better in Cebu. I'm not wanting to start a turf war. I am only stating real facts from the Philippines offical records on google
