More slurred, rambling insanity from my leaking, mutant mind.

  • American Gods. Weave World. no?

  • Hell yeah :). Weave World is actually one of my favourite books full stop. I first read it when I was 11 (my Mome gave it to me on the basis that it was "too weird" for her) and it completely blew my mind.

  • i'd love to see a video about why you think "Hannibal" is so bad. I've got my own opinions, but I'd like to hear yours.

  • Hey there Roentgen571; that sounds like fun, so I'll be recording a video on the matter at some point.

  • You use such big words you make me feel stupid :-(

  • Hey Mr.B; most definitely not my intention; that's just the way I speak. Besides, using big words doesn't make me or anyone particularly clever; it just means that I read probably more than is good for me ;)

  • Another Cage hater, YES!! 5 stars George, eloquent as always :)

  • Have you seen a movie called waking life? If not, I highly recommend it! It is somewhat like, a scanner darkly!

  • When you mentioned a church for AI, it made me think of the program red dwarf. The mechenoid 'kryten' believes in a 'silicon haven' that drives him and many other robots with AI to serve humans. And when the character Lister tells him that only humans have a haven he says 'that was all just a lie to keep you all from going crazy' I love that quote. If you have never seen the series red dwarf, I highly recommend it.

  • I don't think Nicholas Cage is that bad. Then again I've never seen the remake of The Wickerman. I avoid remakes almost as a natural reaction to the fact that they exist. However, I did enjoy the 78 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and I've seen the most recent one, although I did find it awful.

Anyway, Nicholas Cage is pretty good in Face Off. I also liked him in National Treasure and The Weatherman. I think his style of acting is suitable for some roles, but he's not overly adaptable.

  • that was some set of videos very educational. You said more words in these two videos than l know?

  • sorry... Neal Stephenson

  • If... When true AIs are around would you prefer them as just sentient robots (Transformers) that life among us or one or two big AI (Colossus ;#1) that would take over the world to rule (for) us?

but you don't have to answer this question since you said that it may become a new video with this topic.

    #1

Colossus, the novel by Dennis Feltham Jones

    or

Colossus: The Forbin Project, a film from 1970.

  • the new questions that poped up ;)

Since you're imortal, How old are you really? and did you witness any historic relevant events?

and in your wandering throu out time did you ever encounter a small blue police box with a strange light on top?

Have you read any of Neil Stephenson's books?
