That would be a start. And if all else fails quote history. Use the atrocities the British empire did. They did it at a grand scale. No one questioned them about it. Put him on the spot. Might be a little self-serving, but so what. It will force him to change his line of questioning and bring him down to earth. Why is it now our problem to resettle serbs that left. If they don't want to come back, why does Croatia have to concern itself with these dilemmas? Croatia has bigger problems. We are concerned about the rebuilding of infrastructure and economic stability. Building a very strong middle class, education etc and etc.

Did we have anything to defend with? Hey wasn't it your former PM Mr Major, who lobbied hard to do nothing in the region? Did we start the ethnic cleansing? Was it at that the scale of Serbs (atrocities)?. Is it not knee jerk not to expect some of those things in war? Did it happen? YES. Was it at the degree made out to be? NO.
