  • Winning by the narrowest of margins. Scoring only after Jamaica took the lead. What a nerve shredder that would be if the game was real. And De Rosario would be immortalised with that strike, as would the keeper with the penalty save. Very enjoyable. History made!

You are so lucky to get Peru. They're probably still better than Canada, but they're the easiest team in CONMEBOL. If you were going to finish 4th, you won't get a better chance to win that playoff.

  • @Lorric101 I also can't believe that you predicted a Peru-Canada playoff like two games ago. LOL!

  • Good victory Hurst and good luck for the playoffs.

  • @hourand12 Thanks!

  • Good Game Hurst. Loved your reaction after the penalty kick :D

  • @Mikus987654321 I still can't believe I saved it. In my opinion, it's one of my more remarkable moments in the 400+ videos I have posted. I'm sure there are other people who make those types of saves all the time but it's the only penalty kick I have ever saved that wasn't right at the keeper. I don't save that and we're likely eliminated.

  • @Lorric101 I was freaking out during the second half. Even after De Rosario's goal I wasn't sure if Costa Rica was going to find an equalizer. I agree that I'm lucky to draw Peru.

  • @Lorric101 Yes, I checked them out and Peru is no powerhouse. Unfortunately, the first leg is at home and the second leg is in Lima. I would have preferred it the other way around.

  • Good luck.

  • I decided to check the stats on Peru and Canada. The two sides are almost equal, Peru very slightly better. For all intents and purposes it's an even match. I'm looking forward to it. World Cup qualification is a realistic goal. Peru and Costa Rica are almost the same. You've had plenty of experience with Costa Rica in this campaign, so that's about how difficult beating Peru will be.
