Art Baker did the show from 1950 to 1958 and was replaced by Jack Smith. It was fun to watch as a kid. Their sponsor was Skippy Peanut Butter. That reminds me – I haven’t had Skippy Peanut Butter in years! Now I have to go out and get some. I hope that they still make it. My brother and I really enjoyed our American Flyer trains.

  • Who was the host of "You Asked for It? I still have my AF trains but my father gave away my cool accessories.

  • Even in this age of High Tech, there is something beautiful and artistic in these electromechanical marvels.
