Marion & Mark's Stop Motion Wedding

In the summer of 2010, Claire Zedelius and Daniel Fitzgerald attended an awesome wedding in and around Esslingen, Germany. The plate game was announced where a future wedding gift/favour could be pledged/won by the groom catching plates thrown by the bride with a few distractions. We also drove from the picturesque town out to Schloss Solitude for the ceremony and then to burg stettenfels in untergruppenbach for the party where said plate throwing occurred.

Our pledge was a stop motion video of the wedding, little considered at the time how much work this would be and how good at catching the groom was. After some initial difficulties in keeping actors fresh between takes, we came to have a great time making the finished work. Thus, Claire and I present our stop-motion video entitled Marion & Mark's Stop Motion Wedding - a labor of love.

Songs used include 'Seule' by Kaada & Mike Patton; Keren Ann's She won't trade it for nothing; 'The opposite of hallelujah by Jens Lekman; 'The Car Song' by Arlo Guthrie; 'Je_m'amuse' by Caravan Palace and 'Rising' by Son Lux.
