I love their older, spookier stuff. :)

about a week ago i had the most powerful haunting dream ive had in my life. the album cover quite closely resembles what i saw. scary :S
-
you're right it is very penetrating and releases a very deep meaning about human relationships, speaking for myself.
-
Garlands, my favorite Cocteau Twins album. Love this song.

@micki0810 Originally on a freebie compilation as was "Perhaps Some Other Aeon". The original Garlands CD included the four John Peel Session tracks plus this track and Aeon. Shame they were not included on the remastered reissue.

where did this come from...been a CT's fan for years and only heard it amazing TY

2:15 I definitely hear "world ghost said me" .
I think it's one of the tricks of her style to play loose with the lyrics between verses and versions. She wants her words to stay veiled.

How is this statement not accurate:
"It was a free song given away with some magazine"
when it was a free song given away with a magazine. I tried to post a link, but Youtube won't let me.
-
actually not accurate. "Speak no Evil" and "Perhaps Some Other Aeon" where supposed to be their first release. and it was cancelled, so these 2 songs are much older than anything they released.
