Love Bites [A Jemi Movie] Part 5 (B)

(The following day. NORA'S POV)
"I wonder where hot angst boy went yesterday..?" Maggie picked at her salad as she sat across from me, her beautiful waist-long locks pulled over one shoulder.
"He has a name." I replied.
"So...?" She stabbed a carrot with her fork and placed it into her mouth.
"It's Adam, not hot angst boy." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Aw, is somebody jealous?" Maggie asked.
"Jealous? Of what?"
"Oh my goodness, you totally wanna bone him!" Maggie screetched.
I covered her mouth with my hand, "Margaret! What the hell?!"
She released my hand as her ocean eyes grew wide, "So you do?!"
"No! I don't even now him, Mags."
"But you want to."
"Will you just drop it?" I asked, scooting my peanut butter sandwich away from me. I had completely lost my appetite.
"Fine fine, Bitchy McWitchy." She tugged on one of my dark waves that I had sculpted this morning, attempting to look half way decent for school.
"Very clever, Slutty McButty." She stuck her tongue out at me but her humorous face faded and she looked a little sad, "What's wrong?"
"Jeremiah didn't come home last night. That's not like him, and he's not here today. I'm getting a little worried."
I put my hand on her shoulder, "Maybe he's finally tired of playing Daddy. He probably wanted to go have some fun, finally let loose, he's a senior now and he needs some freedom. I'm sure he's fine, Mags."
"I know, you're probably right." Her smile replastered itself on her face, her rosey cheeks lifting. "C'mon, I need a cigg."
"Ha, very funny. You know I don't approve of that, what makes you think I'd go outside with you so you can inhale a couple of cancersticks?"
"I think it's YOU that needs to let loose. Now, COME ON! No one is making you smoke." She grabbed my hand and led me out of the cafeteria and onto the field, near the forest was where everyone smoked. I sat on a tree trump beside her, away from the stoners. She wasn't like that, she just needed a ciggerate to relax her nerves sometimes, so we still tried to stay away from that crowd. I waved my hands in the air, moving the smoke that she had blown in my face away from me.
"Yuck! You wanna give me cancer too, Mags?!" I yelled, trying to remain serious, although I was laughing. I opened my eyes that were once squeezed shut and saw a figure deeper in the woods.
It looked like Adam. Those dark curls and sterling eyes were so distinctive. But when I blinked and looked again, he was gone. That's weird.
"Hello? Earth to Nora!" Maggie waved her hands in front my face, regaining my attention, "I'm done, let's go. I've got Spanish."
"Oh, sorry." I said, shaking my head. I must have been seeing things. "Oh I had Spanish yesterday. I have Psychology next."
"I don't get why they don't just put us in the same classes. We signed up for the same curreculum this year but you were placed on A days and I on B days. How retarded."
"Yeah." I replied, not really listening. I was still thinking about Adam and whether or not I was seeing things when I entered the Psychology room. Who I would assume was the teacher was sitting at their desk, typing away on their Apple laptop so I took an empty seat near the back and put my iPod on until he was ready to teach.
I was interuppted by the sound of a chair being pulled out next to me and a pair of silver eyes staring into my own chocolate colored pair. "Hello, Nora."
