Sketchup Tutorial 1 - Building a Roof Easily

Are you having trouble building roofs for your house models in Google Sketchup? Then this tutorial will help! I may go a little fast, so pause as needed if you're working along.

Instructions:
1. Make your house.
2. Divide the top of the house into sections that you want to place roofs on.
3. Divide one section in half using the midpoint.
4. In the middle of that division, draw a line upward to the height you want the roof to be.
5. From the top of that line, draw a diagonal line to one of the corners of the section.
6. Work your way around until you have a pyramid on the house.
7. Using the paint bucket, paint the pyramid to make it look like a roof.
