Extraordinary talk by UG Krishnamurti recorded not long after the 'calamity'(presumably in late sixties). Yes, it's really UG. I have no interest or business to make fake videos.

It's called 'Monologue UG Musing About Effects of "Calamity"' Song: Lotus Heart by Dessert Dwellers.
Thanks to Priyatam, drvijayrao and aashti

  • @withholeyshoes1 Well the "truth" is usually not very gentle don't you agree? :-) Thanks,I will go to your link

  • @marcelia3 ... U.G Krishnamurti, not to be confused with Jiddu Krishnamurti, was quite a character. He was obsessed with knowing "truth." He's definitely not for everyone because of his brash nature. Most seekers who visited him did not find a gentle guru.

Some of his quotes can send you for a loop, they did me anyway but i realize we're all different and he may not appeal to you. I'll send U a link.

  • In my opinion spirituality is a condition of the heart and cannot be accomplished by study or piety and by looking for the truth you first have to learn to be sincere toward yourself

  • @MentalHygieneMusic I disagree. I met him several times, and he definitely was enlightened. I don't think you have begun to understand what enlightenment is.

  • @rangsar That's a huge exaggeration!

  • I think I finally have UG figured out. He sought his entire life for enlightenment and never achieved it so he became frustrated and gave up which became his "transition" which is nothing more than another word for enlightenment or freedom. He freed himself from his desires to be free which never should have existed in the first place if he had truly understood the teachings of Buddhism. His story is very similar to the Buddha's which is suspicious indeed. That said I do agree with UG alot

  • still gives me chills

  • got it!!! :)

  • um can someone tell me what is the title to the background music?
