Brass Band of Battle Creek performs Wycliffe Gordon's "Me/We" from his "I Saw The Light" suite, composed to homor Muhammad Ali. Wycliffe Gordon, trombone soloist, Damon Gupton, conductor.
I love Wycliffe Gordon. I knew the band quite well. They stayed in my home town for years to perform in BC.. I bought Wycliffe a drink after the firsrt concert he played with them. I told people then to watch for him. He made my hair stand on end. I am thrilled to say I talked with him those times. The rest of the guys were wonderful. To much fun..
