I like your positive attitude for the most part. Ms Prejean is entitled to her opinion - but the problem is that she is out campaigning to oppress a minority, either by denying them their civil rights, or removing the rights that they already have. I think we shouldn't be so tolerant of intolerance and instead we should stand up for human rights. It is important to remember that "religion" and "faith" can be used for evil pusposes too. I therefore think that all criticism of Ms P is justified.

I am for allowing others to be their true self which includes allowing equal rights.

I too wish Miss Prejean would stand for full equality. But I do support her in being herself and speaking her mind and promoting that for others.

Just so you know, she isn't telling you to stand up for truths no matter what they are. She is telling you to stand up for "opposite sex" marriage, NOT "gay" marraige. She is NOT a Christain, and DOESN'T follow Christ. She believes she is standing up for God, but she's not. At all.
