First process to Reborning your doll is bathing your doll kit.

I did some research about what soap would be best to wash your Reborn kit & it seems it depends on the artest one said,

"Wash all the pieces in a gentle baby soap to remove any factory impurities that might interfere with painting."

Another said "I use Dawn dish soap because I think it helps cut the manufacturers residue off of the doll kit"

Basically its dish soap or baby soap its all up to you.
One artist said,
"Use delicate soap such as any kind of baby soap"
verses
"Wash your reborn doll kit in a warm bath with mild dish detergent to get the chemicals off."

@loreyfamily Awwww! Thank you so much for taking the time to make the video. I'm excited to see it. I just peek at your site to see if it was done & it is so I'm going to run on over there & watch it :) Paisley is one of my favs to. I got mine from my hubby last Christmas. I was almost done with her & she didn't turn out so I started on my daughters Eden (Alicia decided she wanted me to reborn her) & Paisley sits & waits to be done. Poor Paisley, that's another story though LOL!

@loreyfamily I'm on and off about piercing her ears I'm so afraid of ruining her. How did you go about piercing her ears? If you dont already have one, how about a how to on piercing your Reborns ears? Just a thought :)

@loreyfamily I so appreciate all the advice I can get. As silly as it may sound I didn't even think of a wash cloth, lol! I will definitely start using one from here on. It will be more fun any way, it kinda gives the affect of washing your "baby" ;) Thank you so much!
