Dan designed and built it for his mother, Kathy. As you can see, did an amazing job. A big thanks to the family for gladly opening their doors to us.

  • Um. This is one one of the better trailer/tiny homes I have seen but extremely distracting video. We viewers are seeing the space in two dimensions so it takes a little longer to conceptualize what is going on. Don't pan so fast from detail to detail.

  • @unicorngangster1 I'm not the best at this yet..was my first video tour.. Thanks for the tips they'll help me get better for next time!

  • My grandmother would love a little house like this. She doesn't do stairs, so half her current house isn't even used. She's been sleeping on the living room couch as long as I knew her, so she'd be just fine with an arrangement like this. She's on a fixed income, so the lower utility bills would also benefit her. I think I'll have enough saved to build in a couple years (poor college student), so maybe I'll go with Dan's "Retirement" model for my first build, for my gram.

  • @PigeonTech that's so awesome, you are a fantastic grand child

  • Its very cool but why not buy an Rv??

  • @102sammy RV is great if you're moving around a lot, but Dan's mom is staying put so she prefers that homey feeling instead.

  • what is the square footage of the house?

  • What kind of wood is that on the interior walls.

  • @unicorngangster1 Oh jeez, another critical whiner.

  • @TinyHouseTalk Well, I just enjoy seeing all the love and attention that people are putting into such small spaces. It's beautiful!. I myself always preferred a small house on a big lot, than the other way around. Has TinyHouseTalk done a container home yet?

  • @TheGreenzgal "DAN THE MAN!" Haha, I love it

  • @Benshe100 yup- she did such a great job with everything. The sink is great looking.
