nope,..me not lined in., just pure crappy room sound & a mobile phone w/ a pathetic setup that took me hours to complete just to have it to come out decent to be an amateur YT flick.. (the fan at the back may have helped in some acoustic aspects... or not.) :) regarding the backing tracks... it's actually Mike Stern's.. from the "Ultimate Play-Along" cd,.. which i had long time ago. cheers!, PSM..

try playing a ( i-VI- iv-V7 ) chord progression using a minor7/9 as its root chord. ex. || D-7/9 | BbM7 | G-7 | A-11 :||

tip: always picture these : the Relative Major Key assigned in the entire song..(ex. F Major chord. for the one shown above.)

the Ionian shape,(pref.2nd-3rd-7th Modal Degrees) should be the fretmap then.

personally what happened here is i emphasized the minor/major9th note from time to time & did some note-juggling,blues pentatonics & some chromatic embellishments..
