This is the first footage of the Anonymous BART Civic Center Protest today - 8/15/11. This footage is the beginning... and the end of the Protest - it was shut down and the BART Station Closed with-in 10 min of the protest starting. Cell phone service was not disrupted during the protest, no-one was hurt, and the protest went outside and quickly dissipated. There were other smaller groups protesting in other areas with-in the BART system however they were not organized together.

Thank you all who went to protest, All we have in this world is each other. And to be there for eachother like this is just so amazing, to stand for justice like this, it just brings a tear to my eye. We cant let the police take over, you ALL deserve a gold medal!

Hello - I was the person behind the camera obtaining this footage for a documentary we are doing, there is allot more than just this avail, however the police stated they were recording to show that they were following policy and procedure.

Should have had rally up top. Police are forced to clear area because over crowding and people can be knocked to the tracks. we need better planning

Yes, we had a camera on Market & if they had been protesting on Market more footage would of been released and a larger protest may have occurred. It was however a dangerous place downstairs with trains whizzing by so close to where people were protesting. Several times people had to be helped to keep from falling into the track area. Although both sides of this can be seen, losing another life is not the way to resolve this. There is a better way, and United by Humanity can help.
