A Navajo hoop dancer from his youth, Tony resonated with the pulse of the Navajo drum, which also served as a reference point for his interest in other indigenous drums later on.

In the California Bay area, he was exposed to Afro-Cuban, Latin-Rock and Urban-Soul drumming, while he continued to participate in his tribal dances. This fusion of ethnic musical sties during his youth, has created the potent multi-cultural drumming that has become his signature style.

@SPS148669 Don't put done rap altogether. The art form of rap was usurped by devils that misuse, abuse and manipulate. Real rap you will never hear on radio unfortunately. Real rap grew out of protest which is the purpose for rap. It is also verse with beats and rhythms; however, yes what you hear today is vulgar, common, and destructive which is exactly what the powers that be want it to be.

Always have loved congas' and this was really hot!!!! Hey, just saw post from Trianglewitch re: congas on the motorcycle. HA! Do you remember. I would drive, and you would ride on back with one in each arm!! lol
