IAM Rider Doing own Commentary 20 minute Run

A look at an IAM rider who had been an avid watcher of my video clips and we made arrangements to meet up. I supplied him with an Interphone F4 Blue Tooth headset, I paired it to mine and recorded the conversation via the Autocon system. For a first attempt, not a bad effort. A refreshing change from my voice and a diffferent slant on things, crown of the road and new phrases etc.
Clip is 20 minutes long and contains some good examples of Bend Assessment, Overtaking Decisions etc

@carlbroadbent - Thanks for the feedback. I would encourage any rider with bike to bike to try it. It gets the rider to think more, I know the comms are working and it makes learning more enjoyable. Less stops and the ride flows more. Any issues can be discussed when safe almost immediately.

Thanks for another informative video. I'm undertaking the IAM's 'Skills for life' at present despite 45 yrs of biking and this video was off particular interest by having an IAM rider (Simon) giving a commentary on the ride, I hope I can achieve an equal level of competency. The only small downside I find with your video's is that they are mostly taken in the countryside, I would find video's of more urban riding, joining motorways, filtering etc useful.

found this interesting thanks for uploading. The only thing that stood out was sometimes close to oncoming cars, I tend to move away abit more.

@advancedbiker this guy was pretty close to the white line going round a bend early on in the video , i would have thought that would be dangerous because there wouldnt be alot of room for movement if something went wrong.

on a completely seperate subject , why is it that every rider i see in your vids has panniers? surely its not a coincidence!
