This is a good observation. However, typing is a major focus in the program's curriculum. The focus of the video does not address specifics of the curriculum but larger challenges in education.

  • I finished 1 yr typing academy by the age of 15. In the United States, at a local library I witnessed grown ups using 2 finges to type at the computer. The draw back of typing with 2 fingers is time. It can take 1 hr to type with 2 hands something that can be done in 10 minutes by someone who types by touch. It seems insignificant, but it is paramount. Teach those childrens how to type that is STEP NUMBER ONE and you will see the results.

  • One of the participants said there is lack of curriculum and teaching methodologies. As a viewer of this clip, I observed a simple technique not implemented yet, this has slipped away by probably the excitment to be be in a computer room. Typing, I am talking about typing. A user before he begins to use a computer and understands it, must take a very simple course of typing on the computer. Typing software can be downloaded and it is far more interactive.
