Sung by a primary school choir, accompanied by a harp. Have done a serach on Welsh Bridges, I think they must be standing by Thomas Telford's suspension bridge across the Menai Straits in Anglesey. Comments require my approval, so please only submit once, I'll approve them asap.

  • SO beautiful.... It gives me chills down my spine...

Welsh is probably one of the most beautiful languages I've ever heard.

I might be part Welsh, and if I am, I'm proud to be Welsh! <3

  • That's not quite correct, but the answer is long and complicated. Wales is an ancient country, which was conquered by England in the 1500s and became part of "England and Wales". In 1999 it got its own parliament, called "The Welsh Assembly". The Welsh language had been declining, but at the moment its enjoying something of a revival. Most people speak English, but about 20% of the population can speak Welsh.

  • @NorthernerMatty123 slow anthem? if you knew the words and were not anti welsh maybe it would have more meaning to you.......life is not all about rushing...enjoy

  • I am English and wish we had a song like that when sang well it makes my heir stand up

  • @94uustrats was not really respected at ALL until 1993 very late imo

  • @94uustrats Wales has officially been respected as a seperate country to England since long before devolution. It is difficult for foreigners to understand, but Scotland, England and Wales are all "countries within a country".

  • @notyobs This comment might be 8 months old but just to correct you the Normans counted as the English when they invaded you way before the 1500s.
