Part 2 of Amazing documentary discovery when Daniel took his 1st steps at age 9. Video demo Daniel's weakness without his assistive technology. Daniel had infantile spasms during the first couple years of this early childhood. He cried consistently (non-stop). He woke up to every little sounds, then he had problems going back to sleep. He didn't naps like other children. He would not response to visual or audio simulations. He did not have the will to thrive. At around 2½ we started him with conductive education, where he had to be dropped off for 3 hours of private therapy/education. He cried for almost a month, until he gains control over his basic movements. That was the turning point for Daniel. Soon after his style of therapy was changed; using conductive education as a hostistic form of therapy. The infantile spasms slowly diminished. The more he can do things on his own, the more normal he looks, because of the movements and activities he does throughout his day. He become more functional as time goes on.

@loopyloopster1 Oh yeh! If you tell him to do something and he has control of that movements he will do it. He can following directions and he is very interactive when he is in his gait trainer or the power wheelchair. I will link his expressive movements in the video when he was driving his power standing wheelchair.
