@magustx That still doesn't change the fact that Roddenberry was old fashioned when it came to this subject, there has been articles about it. Go look it up.

@llamapi3 No, clearly you are the one in misunderstanding. The Federation that Roddenberry envisioned was one of societal perfection, where the needs of the individual were the needs of the whole. I think you are just insecure about your sexuality

@magustx Clearly you misunderstood me. I'm not talking about the laws in the Star Trek universe I'm talking about Roddenberry's personal views and how it was reflected in his work. I am not saying one is right or wrong, just don't expect to see that in anything he has a part of.

@llamapi3 Actually, they were. The federation sees no distinction between homosexuality and heterosexuality. In Roddenberry's vision there are no laws because all men are self-governed and act in society's best interest. Its very easy to see when you consider where gay marriage laws will be 100 years in the future

I've never really checked out the Data/Geordie thing, but this video is awesome. I like the song and it is well done. :D I think I may be beginning to like the pairing, too.
