From BBC Three's John Peel tribute, I've replaced the audio with the new b-side, but kept the original intro from the tape, so you can see why I never bothered posting it originally (the fuzzy noise kept happening at 6 second intervals, so it didn't seem worth it). Complain about the quality, and I'll fucking kill you.

Well yeh, Amy Winehouse's cover was terrible, but you can blame Ronson for that. Generally covers are disliked as they arent well rehearsed, hard to reproduce corectly, and most of all live!

its to do with the original artist getting the sound for it usually
if a band makes a song they know how they want it to sound and can get it that way
other bands have to work around it to make it sound different enough
although covers i cant stand include amy whinehouse doing valerie, i was against that completely!!!!
mcfly did a cover of i kissed a girl really well though!!!

The reason why you think all covers are bad is because you are loyal to the orignal artist, its really nothing to do with how well they played

but you find that with most bands thery cant cover as well
