The trips I took over the summer to Marine Land and Toronto Zoo. Marine land was with Vic (the long, brown haired girl) and Toronto Zoo was with mom (short brown hair woman). I'm the blond chick with the five chins. XD

I hope you enjoy these videos as much as I did taking them.

NOTES: Some are listed in the video. Some are not. The toronto zoo is known and respected as being one of the best zoos in the world for its care, cleanliness and proper maintenance of its animals. If, for example, you think that the videos of the animals make them seem aggressive, bored or mindless, i have explanations.

The elephant that's using its tusk to gouge the bark off the wood is using an enrichment toy to keep it from becoming bored. The challenge of getting bark off keeps it amused. The elephant that put the stick in its tusk (in the prior picture, the stick is in its trunk), is also demonstrating enrichment. After the pictures were taken, it used the stick like a drumstick and hit it on their shade towers. The elephant ripping hay off its own face is the same. It has smartly put its food where it can reach it.

The tiger snarling and being aggressive is just how big cats work. He lives with another tiger, who got too close to his portion of food during feeding time. He was only warning him to "BACK OFF!" The tiger playing with the ball is also just being a cat, testing his hunting abilities that he doesn't need where he is.

The bears are pacing because it was almost their food time. The head-toss shows impatience and the pacing is a way for them to kill time. They're not suffering, just waiting, like a kid at a diner.

So I don't want any "OMG THE ANIMALZ R SUFFERING AND I HATE ZOOS!" That is not why i posted this video. It is not only preserve the memories of the day, but to promote people to donate and visit the toronto zoo! (i don't work for them, btw.)

Also, Ignore the inside joke of the cobra pasted at the end. I will not explain it to you.

If you have any questions about any of the animals, write a comment about it.
