Police Brutality: FBI Charges Cop with Beating and Lying

Police Brutality: A suburban Detroit police officer has been indicted on federal charges of using unlawful and excessive force and making a false statement to an FBI agent.

The U.S. Department of Justice says a federal grand jury in Detroit on Thursday indicted 45-year-old Brenda Stevenson.

The indictment charges that Stevenson was a sergeant with the Highland Park police force when she struck and injured someone identified only by the initials "V.B."

Stevenson is also accused of lying to an FBI agent investigating the matter.

She faces up to 15 years in prison and a $500,000 fine if convicted.

A message seeking comment was left at the only published residential telephone number in the Detroit area listed under the name of Brenda Stevenson.

Sue law enforcement every time you get a chance, learn, get/be educated, vote policy in that will not let law enforcement have as much power as they do. Return the power to the people "We the People..." Always vote against anything that funds or gives in any way more power to law enforcement. Do this always and put them back in their place and continually remind them to tread lightly as they govern and enforce the laws. "We the People..." Also, always support your 2nd amendment rights.
