You can find the DVD of "Were The World Mine" at TLA Video, an on-line store that is very supportive of gay cinema. The DVD can, also, be found on-line at Deep Discount DVD, DVD Empire, Best Buy, Amazon and CD Universe. It is very important to give business to gay film-makers and gay-themed films, so that they will continue to be made.

  • "Brokeback Mountain" is a sweet, haunting film. A family member said that it was the saddest movie that she had ever seen. The performances are awesome, and it certainly should have won the Oscar for Best Picture.

"Were The World Mine" is delightful, a charming musical take on "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The two young leads are adorable, and the score is lovely. It is a well-crafted film.

Both of these are movies to buy and to add to your DVD library.

  • "Latter Days" and "Kiss The Bride," both by the same director, are movies that I enjoyed. Actress Tori Spelling, a big supporter of the gay community, is in "Kiss," and she plays a character that you just fall in love with. The pancake scene is great.

With all the activities lately by the Mormon church to try to deny the gays their rights and even take away those that they already have, "Latter Days" is a very relevant movie. In it, Jacqueline Bisset makes a fantastic Mormon comment.

  • "That's usually just a rhetorical question...um."

  • @MetallicSharpie3 no i couldn't find it.. :(

  • @Ishaluvsu2 go to Logo.com, its in the movie section

  • WERE THE WORLD MINE IS AMAZING
