I don't understand a word of French, I took an online translator to get the English lyrics, then I rewrote them in better English that made more sense, before I translated it German

So I hope you like it.

PS. The subs might not match perfectly with the French lyrics since I don't understand French

  • you should remove or redo the german translation. There is barely a word in the right place.

  • @derberherbert Was meinst du????

  • Nice video! thanks for the translation.... I have a question though, the music in the very beginning, is that a part of the actual song?, it reminds me of some other song that I cant recall.

  • I'm sure I'll get crucified for daring to have a different opinion to the majority, but I prefer the version April March did.

  • Montreal <3

  • For a good translation of the song to English look up April March's song "Chick Habit"

    "Laisse tomber les filles" translates to English as "give up the girls" as in stop chasing after girls and settle down.

  • 15 years she was in here. super talent.

  • heavenly

  • Quel souvenir Bravo pour le clip

  • its not 'don't dump the girls' its 'dump the girls' Laisse tomber is dump

  • @jlmagoya, didn't need your translation, however "je crois", is "I believe" for starters

    The translation of "Laissez tomber les filles" is LITERALLY "Leave drop the girls", how you wish to anglacize an equivalent is subjective.

    Laissez = Leave

    tomber =drop

    les = the (plural)

    filles =girls

    As for "Don't worry about that, girls" that would be "Inquiètez pas de sa, les filles"

    Read the accurate song summary post from lunaix

    Got a SPECIFIC translation issue then QUOTE it and the correction.

  • @ZangaroZen je crois qu'on fera mieux de vous laisser tomber tous à l'évidence que vous parlez de ce que vous ne connaissez pas du tout. TRANSLATION: I'll be better not to pay attention to any of you, since it's clear to see you speak about what you don't know. "Laisser tomber les filles" means "Don't worry about that, girls" or if you prefer "Don't waste your time with it, girls" Salut les gars.
