Song: YYZ
Artist: Rush
Instrument: Drums
Difficulty: Expert
Neil Peart never ceases to amaze me. He's definitely the most technically adept drummer of all of the older rock bands, and stuff like this shows it. He's got a lot of control over his limbs is all I can say...
This one is so tough to pass for me just because of those verses with the crazy blue/bass sections and also the parts in between the bass/drum solos where it goes into that weird hi-hat beat. No recourse but to just limp my way through it with OD fills, although I did pick up the pattern sort of later on when I start comboing parts of that blue/kick pattern.
Anyway, as always, if you need any tips, be sure to ask!
hey buddy i saw where you were having trouble on the ride, if you listen to rush a lot and listen to neil closley, he does that same beat in almost every song. practice it..

Yeah, I recognize the pattern now :P It's a hell of a lot easier to see it when you're not playing it. I'll go back and try this out again!
