It only takes 2 turns to beat this one. Once Welkin is in the tank, it actually only takes a couple of moves to capture the enemy flag. Obviously, the first Tank should be taken out in one hit lol... but since it takes 3 moves to get passed the second tank it doesn't really matter anyways. I don't think it's possible to get in a good enough position behind Tank #2 to kill it in 2 moves. I just put the Lancers in front so they would be taking the damage instead of my kamikaze scout. Judging but the health remaining of my scout after his run, I think it might even be possible to run through without using the Defence Boost order.

I've decided to try and take on the project of exploring the possibly of speed running this game. Basically, beating each of these levels as efficiently as possible without power-leveling. That means not only beating each level in under the amount turns required to get "Rank A" but also trying to optimize each action and ultimately achieving the most efficient strategy possible. I'm always looking to improve myself so if you have any tips and tricks leave a comment, video response or whatever.

  • I am curious that why you have 8 CP at the beginning of the 1st phase, I've only 6 CP at the beginning. And Edelweiss cannot pass the gate without firing the giant tank that blocks the gate. The giant tank's location is varied by AI, it is often slanting a little, so Edelweiss cannot pass through directly. To divert the giant tank's bottom forward to let Edelweiss get in there, I have to fire the radiator from its side. Although I see ur tactics as reference, It is still so hard to get A rank.

  • @hanwenjie1412 If I remember correctly, you can get 2 extra CP if Largo and Rosie are in your party from the beginning of the battle.

  • It's possible to do this mission in 1 turn, first 3 cp to get Welkin in the tank, then 4 cp to drive the tank all the way over to the gate and knock it down. I used the first turn with the tank to kill two shock troopers, then killed the first tank, positioning the Edelweiss in front of the other tank, shielding my scout. Last cp used for a scout to run and take the base, remember to use a scout with Resist Crossfire potentional and a highpowered rifle to take out the last shocktrooper.

    I guess the only question I have is, since scouts have to be level 14 to get Resist Crossfire, how did you get your scouts to level 14 already? Did you power level level them in Skirmishes?

    By the way, just as a little heads up, if your scout cannot run all the way there in 1 turn and you hve to end phase, you still get a rank A if your scout makes it ext turn

  • Mr. TJazz, Very impressive! I also thought of what Liei had come up with but its a tad risky as some of the potentials don't always activate, or you might have a missed shot screw up your groove.

  • i also did it in 1 turn.

    here's how i took out the last shocktrooper:

    i used the last CP on Aika (lvl 9, scout) to make her run to the gate. Stop at the gate and do NOT go in. (If you go in, your attack will be down.) As long as you don't go in too much, the shocktrooper won't see you. Aim his head and shoot him. If all the bullets hit then he will be dead.

    just use a scout with good aiming and keep trying.

    So all my guys were at lvl. 20.
