The Turks got screwed before WW1 and after WW1 so the Turk soldiers had a lot of untapped rage to rely upon in battle. And fortunately for them the Greek generals were clueless so The Greeks lost everything including Constantinople. I had thought the Turks after WW2 were civilized but Wahbi Islam has taken root.
