@yehwayslogos why does she need a perm? so she can live up to the standards of caucasian beauty that have been forced on African-American women since they were dragged to this country? it's cool if YOU like to be fake and imitate the long, straight-haired look of your masters who have taught you that is the only way to look beautiful. but some people have more confidence in themselves and can see their own beauty without having to modify themselves to look the way others tell them to look.
