Get a large above ground pool and keep plenty of pool shock handy.

Keep pool filters, spare pumps.

Iodine tablets.

you got points, I like steal stock tanks, think they have a better

survival life.

as for heating water for cooking, yep, but most likely will be forced

sooner or later to drink waters that are not so called clean.

and many will die. but not all.

you know, its funny. well not really but im only 19 and i see the same things happening as you do to our homes. I fear that soon its going to be every man for them selves as the president sits in a bunker with 30 foot thick walls. I never understood the bug out mentality. I believe 1 better off staying put with a community be it formal or informal. Even if you plan an alternative location, getting there & finding it still welcomes you is questionable.
