This is a great dance to watch, lots of action, the key dancers hold a Morning Star pole as they prance about, mimicking the spirit ancestors who held the first such dance.

Likewise, the yidaki rhythm for this song is fast, very percussive and nice syncopations too. You can see Dhapan's full power in this clip, the speed of his facial muscles moving, the rapidity of the overtone notes. As a non-smoker his lung capacity would be better than almost all Yolngu yidaki players and the results are obvious. Bravo Dhapan bravo!!!!

Mouth sounds included in the first part of this clip so you guys out there can get a grasp of the patterning.
