  • @TekMoliGy Because to artifically inseminate them, you need to extract sperm from the male. Now, cows and horses can be tought to mount an artifical female and put the sperm in a collection device. But with Rhinos, pandas, amur leopards, they just won't get arroused until they smell a pheramone that makes them WANT to breed. Scientists don't really know what the scent is that arrouses the males. Once they are arroused, they become aggressive and not likely to mount a pole.

  • i don't get why the rely on them breeding instead of just artifically inseminating them like they do with poeple and cows.
