WIND TURBINE OPERATION AND POWER OUTPUT MEASUREMENTS WITH WIND SPEED OF MIN 5--MAX 9.5 m/sec. POWER CALCULATION MAX: 2.5A*20V(ON THE RESISTOR)+2.5^2*4(LOSSES IN THE GENERATOR)=75W!
THAT MAKES ME SUTTISFIED FOR THE MOMENT. I CONTINUE THE OPTIMIZATION OF THE TURBINE RUNNER...

  • I am currently trying to optimize the turbine runner. What you see in this video is a measurenment of the power output. The load is a variable resistor and I use one voltmeter and one amperometer.

You can see a maximum of 2.5A and 20V ---50W on the load plus 2.5^2*4Ω=25W losses in the generator. SUM 75W!!! (wind speed during test min 5 --max 9.5m/sec)

I am suttisfied for the moment.

  • Νομίζω πως θα είχες καλύτερα αποτελέσματα αν χρησιμοποιούσες μια πολυπολική γεννήτρια αντί της dc γεννήτριας.

  • super

  • where did you get or build the generator ?

    and isn´t 25 W loss a bit to much ?

  • Good work. Thanks for the accurate and truthful measurements.
