Neil Finn joined Split Enz in 1979 and the comeback of this New Zealand band proved to be a huge success. ''Missing Person'' was originally planned to be the first single of the album ''True Colours'', but "I Got You" and ''I Hope I Never'' became big hits instead. This clip was filmed at the Indoor Concert of the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands in 1980. The band members were Tim Finn: vocals, acoustic guitar; Neil Finn: vocals, guitar; Noel Crombie: vocals, percussion; Malcolm Green: drums; Nigel Griggs: bass guitar; Eddie Rayner: keyboards.
fuck yeah..... Neil wrote the best pop songs of the early 80's.

I just love the synths in this version. So prominent, peppy and leading.
