  • Kevin good video. What are the shoes you are wearing?

  • @Survivemich - some cheap crocs I picked up at a corner store.

  • i disagree with the bottom webbing argument.... if you value the bag as a sling bag you need the extra length of the zipper. if you want webbing on the bottom go back to a traditional 2 strap pack

  • I own this bag, I'm ex military, and have used alot of equipment over the years. This bag is great, as long as you don't load it too heavy. It's designed for light loads. If loaded too heavy, the single shoulder strap will just kill your back after carrying it all day.

  • @Microglia1 I recommend cheaper school bags if you're on a budget. My first bag was an $8 backpack from Target and it lasted years of about 20 pounds loaded in it, until the straps broke. If you have a little bit of money to spend, look at molle packs that fit you. You can find some at outdoor shops and military surpluses. Hope that helps.

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!!

  • hi,

I'm only 5'1, are there any good/compact/lightweight survivalist bags for young people?

  • have you used this pack yet? Any comments on its useablity?

Is it time for a Part 2?

  • why not use some velcro straps for the blanket/kitchen sink attachment you want. Just loop it in from the molle webbing from the exterior pocket above.

    other than that, great review

  • Question: Are you able to fit all of that gear in there with a full hydration bladder? I own the Monsoon Gearslinger and I carry a similar gear setup and even though the Monsoon is 1600cu'in, it's still a tight fit with a full 3L hydration bladder.

  • i love that pack! you did a great job reviewing it
