Yes, there were many ridiculous/bad movies (Blue Hawaii was silly and Stay Away Joe just painful to watch). I know it, everyone who has seen them knows it, and Elvis knew better than anyone. We also know bad scripts make bad movies that even talented actors can't save. Hell, Elvis COULD act. His better movies show this: King Creole, Jailhouse Rock, Flaming Star, Follow That Dream, Wild in the Country, Change of Habit. But SOB Parker said no, silly cheap flicks got the most buck. A fucking shame.
