Yes, there were many ridiculous/bad movies (Blue Hawaii was silly and Stay Away Joe just painful to watch). I know it, everyone who has seen them knows it, and Elvis knew better than anyone. We also know bad scripts make bad movies that even talented actors can't save. Hell, Elvis COULD act. His better movies show this: King Creole, Jailhouse Rock, Flaming Star, Follow That Dream, Wild in the Country, Change of Habit. But SOB Parker said no, silly cheap flicks got the most buck. A fucking shame.

@bobby6900 scotty gave elvis the look because elvis wanted to use scottys guitar.now scotty loved his guitars and looked after them while elvis would strum the crap out of them and not really care too much if he knocked them about a bit.all scotty was doing was saying be carefull.scotty was not on big money he was on a salary the look was not out of disrespect. just a request to be careful ...and elvis made scotty how? scotty never made any real money with elvis.and that was Col Parkers doing
